About Me

Psychologische Beratung Susann Ratzer

Biographical Information

I grew up in the rural landscapes of Eastern Thuringia, a place that has shaped my connection to the local people, traditions, and Thuringian delicacies. My roots here have instilled in me a deep appreciation for the simplicity and beauty of rural life.

Yet, my curiosity extends beyond my homeland. I am captivated by the lifestyles and natural richness of other countries. This wanderlust has led me to travel extensively, allowing me to immerse myself in various cultures across and outside Europe, enriching my personal experiences and perspectives.

Initially, I ventured into the commercial sector for my professional training. However, I soon realized that this path did not fulfill my aspirations. Seeking a more satisfying career, I embarked on a journey that led me to study psychology, spurred by my enriching experiences abroad. Since completing my psychology degree, I have dedicated myself to the field of psychological counseling. My professional approach aligns closely with the systemic and psychodynamic understanding of the soul, a perspective that resonates deeply with my practice.

My personal journey has taken me across diverse landscapes and cultures. Since 2007, Dresden has repeatedly drawn me back with its charm, and I have proudly called the beautiful ‘Florence on the Elbe’ my home since 2011.
